Due to the rising covid cases, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the postponement of the JEE mains 2021 that was previously set for April and May. Rescheduled examination dates have not been announced yet. Dates will be announced at least 15 days prior to the examination.

Candidates will have to keep the previously allotted login details handy to download the admit card. In the meantime, candidates are advised to visit https://www.nta.ac.in/ and https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ for future notification and updates. Eligibility criteria and relaxation for JEE main 2021

Due to a surge in covid 19 the ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya), Department of Higher Education, Govt of India have announced extensions for the relaxation of eligibility criteria. The candidate attending the examination needs only to qualify 12th examination irrespective of marks obtained. The relaxation is only for JEE Main 2021-2022 academic year.

 

JEE Main B.Arch. exam Pattern

There is a revision in the exam pattern for JEE Main B Arch examination. The revised pattern has a total of 82 questions of which students will need to attend 77 questions. There is no change in the total marks i.e 400 marks.

The change in question number is because there is an increase in mathematics questions. There are 10 mathematics questions in which the candidate has to only attend 5 (previously there were only 5 questions).

The 77 questions are divided into 3 sections.

  • Section I – Mathematics
  • Section II – Aptitude test
  • Section III – Drawing Test

Previously the examination can be attended in English or Hindi Medium however this year NTA has given Hindi, English, and Gujarati (only for centers in Gujarat, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli) as the medium for attending the examination.
