NATA 2021 examination FAQ are listed below. It adresses the most frequently asked questions by the candidates attending the examination each year. 1. Who can apply for NATA 2021?

Anyone who have completed 10+2 examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics or 10+3 diploma with mathematics can appear.Candidates who is appearing for 10+2 examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics or 10+3 diploma currently can also appear.

2. What is admission eligibility criteria for admission for BArch degree course?

The eligibility criteria for admission to BArch degree for the academic year 2021-2022 is according to minimum standards of Architectural Education regulations set by CoA.Currently the regulation dictate that to be eligible for admission candidate must pass 10+2 or 10+3 diploma examination with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate .

3. How may tests can one candidate attend?

A candidate can apply for maximum of 2 tests per year. The first test is scheduled on 10 April, 2021 and the second NATA 2021 test is scheduled on 12 June, 2021.

4. What are the fees for examination?

Application fee for NATA 2021 for any one test is INR 2000/- payable through online mode. Application fee for attending both test is INR 4000/- .There is relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST, PWD and transsexual categories.To apply for any one test a fee of INR 1500/- is to be paid and to apply for both the test a fee of INR 3000/- is to be paid.Admission fee for candidates appearing for NATA 2021 outside the territory of India is INR 10,000/- for a one test and INR 20,000 for both tests through online mode.

5. Can I get fee refund for any valid reason?

 No, fee can’t be refunded or adjusted.

6. What are the test timings?

Following are the test timings: Session 1 – 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 pm (180 mins/3.0 hours) Session 2 (if required) – 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm (180 mins/ 3.0 hours).

7. Until when is the registration open?

For registration and important dates visit www.nata.in . The dates are subject to changes/revision by the council without notice.

8. Can I change my current test centre?

No, once allotted test centres cannot be changed.

9. What should I carry to the examination hall?

NATA 2021 is completely a computer based test. Only things you need to carry with you are
i. Downloaded Admit Card of NATA 2021.
ii. Original Proof of Identity- Aadhar/ Passport/ Driving License/ Voter ID.
iii. Pen, pencil and eraser for rough working

10. What are prohibited inside the examination hall?

Mobile Phones, Bluetooth devices, Calculators, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Electronic Watches or any other electronic gadget with facilities of Calculator are prohibited.
Textual material, printed or written, bits of papers or any other material is also not allowed if found carrying candidates will be debarred from appearing.

13. Which marks will be considered as the final score if I attempt both the tests in April and June?

If a candidate appears for both tests, the best of the two test scores will be considered for score generation.

14. Can I leave examination hall as soon as I finish?

No, the candidate needs to be seated till the end of the allotted time.

15. Can I change my personal details after submitting it?

A candidate can only correct the given iformation only once. So, make sure to check thoroughly before submitting the application.

16. Can I chose different cities for the 1st and 2nd test?

If you are applying for both first and second test simultaneously you can only choose a single city. However, if you are apply for the second test separately you can choose a different city.

17. How many times can I download the admit card?

There is no limit to the number of times you can download the admit card.

18. Will drawing test be conducted in NATA 2021?

No, NATA 2021 is conducted fully online.

19. Is physics, chemistry and mathematics part of NATA 2021 syllabus?

Yes, the aptitude test do contain physics, chemistry and mathematics questions.

20. Will there be a Part A and a Part B in the NATA 2021?

No, there is no Part A and Part B in NATA 2021 as it is completely a computer-based test.

21. What is the pattern of NATA examination?

NATA 2021 is a 3 hour (180 minutes) test within which 125 questions have to be answered. There will be 1 mark, 2 marks and 3 marks questions. Candidates will have to answer 75 one mark questions, 25 two marks questions and 25 three marks question.
