Is NATA and JEE exams the same?

NATA and JEE exams are two competitive tests for students interested in pursuing a profession in engineering or architecture. However, they are two completely different tests for admission to various institutes. It is crucial to know the difference between NATA and JEE exams. NATA and JEE exams are one of the toughest entrance examinations in India. Both exams are highly regarded and have equal weight. However, both examination patterns differ considerably, which is one of the most significant differences between them.

NATA and JEE exams

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a college entrance exam for individuals interested in pursuing professions in architecture, and NATA is a national entrance examination. The Council of Architecture (COA) administers the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) for admission to various colleges’ B.Arch and B.Planning programs. They provide a 5-year undergraduate architecture degree program. Every year, the NATA admission exam is held in April and May.

The NATA entrance exam is for unclaimed B. Arch seats at various Indian institutes, but the final decision regarding admission lies with the respective institutes and colleges.

The National Test Agency (NTA) annually administers the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main B.Arch examination. JEE Main is an entrance exam held at the national level. Admission to many BE, B.Tech, B.Arch, and B planning degrees is available through the JEE Main examination.

These courses are designed to help students gain admission to India’s top institutes, including the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). JEE Main paper two is held twice a year, just like NATA.

Students in the JEE Main B.Arch test must answer 77 multiple-choice questions in three hours, but students in the NATA examination must answer 53 multiple-choice questions in three hours. You can receive admission to numerous engineering and architectural degrees using your JEE main scores, such as B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning, but NATA only gives admission to top architecture institutes in India. JEE Main’s marking scheme includes a negative marking of one mark for each incorrect answer, whereas NATA does not.

The JEE Main B.ARCH and the NATA are two different levels of exams with varying degrees of difficulty. Each student and their preparation determine the examination’s difficulty level. The JEE Main examination is moderate to difficult, whereas the NATA examination is easy to moderate.
