NATA 2021 Brochure
The Exam pattern of NATA 2020 was different due to the pandemic outbreak. Instead of the regular drawing test was replaced with a cognitive skill test which raised widespread criticism by the candidates who attempted it but the NATA brochure of 2021 is more shocking than the previous syllabuses. The usual pattern of exams and the syllabus has been completely replaced with a new one. Most of the syllabus is based upon advanced architectural knowledge. Students who have been preparing for the entrance exam are let down by the new syllabus. The syllabus focus on core architectural concepts like elements and principles of design, building anatomy, and architectural vocabulary which were not asked previously.
How to tackle the new syllabus? – A Dilemma
Most candidates who were prepping for architecture-based higher studies are devastated by the new syllabus. With only less than a month before the preliminary examination, the wide and vague syllabus is stressing the candidates. Students who were doing self-preparation are facing problems like which reference material to choose. Those who are going to coaching centres for preparation have better chances of excelling as the faculty who are familiar with the advanced syllabus could guide them.
Mode of NATA 2021 Examination.
The examination will be conducted completely online. Most candidates could attend the entrance test from the comfort of their houses and student without the necessary setup can go to an online examination center nearby. The purely online test is the product of the pandemic. It is predicted that the NATA syllabus will not go back to offline mode and the new test syllabus will become the norm.
