The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is the qualifying entrance examination for admission into architecture colleges. The Council of Architecture(COA) regulates this entrance exam every year. So, it is important for you to update yourself with important NATA pointers. Hence, read on to know more about NATA 2019 useful tips and dates.
NATA 2019 Application Form:

Before you start with the form filling process, read the NATA information brochure carefully. That is because the authority will not provide correction facility.

  • The form will be available online only.

  • The form filling process will be from January 2019(Third week) to March 2019(last week).

  • And if you have any correction, then you will have to send personal email to the concerned NATA authority.

  • Also,you will have to upload your community certificate, photo and signature if you are an SC/ST candidate.

  • The filling process will be complete only after payment of the registration fees.

  • Make sure you take a printout of the confirmation page after submitting it.

  • The medium of instructions and examination is English.

Registration fees

The fees for NATA registration is Rs.1800/- for General candidates and Rs.1500/- for SC/ST candidates. Also, the payment mode will be online through credit/debit card, net banking or e-challan.

Eligibility 

Know your eligibility to appear for NATA 2019 examination.

  • Age limit: There is no upper age limit for  appearing in NATA. However, you should be at least 17 years old as on 31.07.2019.
  • Basic qualification: You should pass 10+2 or equivalent examination/10+3 diploma/10+IB Diploma with minimum 50% aggregate and with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
  • Final year(Appearing) candidates can also apply.

NATA 2019 Important dates

Some important tentative dates for NATA 2019 are :
  • Official Notification                           January,2019(1st week)
  • Form filling begins from                   January,2019(3rd week)
  • NATA Registration last date             March,2019 (1st week)
  • Admit Card available from               April,2019(1st week)
  • NATA 2019 Examination              April,2019(4th week) 
  • Declaration of results                        June,2019 (1st week)

NATA 2019 Application Procedure

  1. REGISTRATION:

Click on the online NATA portal link. And fill in essential information such as your name, gender, email id, date of birth and so on. And once you register, then you can log in by the ID assigned to you. Also,you may have to fill in personal details for NATA 2019 registration.

2. FORM SUBMISSION:

After you fill the form, make sure there is no mistake and upload the required documents. Also, make sure to cross-check every detail and document before you submit the form.

3. PAYMENT OF FEES:

When you submit your form, the portal will direct you to the payment route. Thus, follow the payment guidelines according to your mode of payment. Thus, after successful payment, you will see a confirmation page. Now, this page will have your application and transaction numbers. And you should make sure you take a print of this page and keep it carefully.

Documents to be uploaded

You should have these documents at hand ready:

  • Color Photograph(JPG/JPEG) : 4kb-100kb file size which measures 4.5cm x 3.5cm
  • Signature (JPG/JPEG) : 1kb-30kb file size which measures 1.5cm X 3.5 cm
  • Community Certificate(SC/ST Candidates) : JPG/JPEG/PDF with 5kb-100kb file size in A4 measurement.

Admit Card 

You will have to download and take a print of the admit card available online. And carry it for your examination and bring a valid ID Proof.
